ROB BUTLER
Having grown up on a Cattle Ranch in the foothills of Alberta, Rob learned the value of committing to and completing a job early on. Helping out others in a ranching community was just a way of life and it did not take long for him to observe that teamwork not only quickened the pace but also improved the outcome through the skills and talents of many. In time, Rob found himself leading such efforts more often than not.
A few years later, and after attending University in Toronto, Rob took a job building decks for a homebuilder in Calgary. After 16 years, he was the Executive Director of Operations for that same homebuilder who had grown to building several hundred single and multi family homes per year. Rob applied the same knowledge he learned as a young man; an accomplished team gets the job done quickly and completely.
In 2007, Rob decided to venture out and start a company. Bringing his work ethic, now equipped with experience, before long the result was completing a few hundred homes a year in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In 2008, Rob integrated his skill set with that of Neil Braun and together they completed several projects. Partnering with Neil was a natural next step in providing great homes for many customers, and Rob now heads Porchlight as CEO.

NEIL BRAUN
BSc Civil Engineering
Neil Braun was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and grew up on construction sites with his Dad and uncles. The Braun family has been building homes in Saskatchewan for nearly 65 years, and Neil is very proud of the quality and integrity engrained in this family legacy.
Neil graduated from Civil Engineering in 1989, and immediately began his development career, building and developing high rise condos and apartments in the Toronto area as a Project Manager. After moving back to Saskatchewan in the early 90’s, he partnered with a builder in Regina, and became the managing partner for condo and land development in that city. After briefly working as VP Construction and Development for a large Calgary condo builder in 2005, Neil decided to start his own real estate development company, Oak Park Living. This company focused on the booming Saskatchewan market, developing over 700 homes and condos in that province.
Over time, Neil joined forces with Rob Butler, who together formed Porchlight Developments.
